Breguet watches come from a manufacturer of some of the best watches. Founded by Abraham Louis Breguet in 1775, who was labeled the father of watch making, Breguet watches are the oldest in the world. They have pioneered several watch making technologies, of which the tourbillon is the most famous. Today, Breguet watches are part of the Swatch group and they are made in Switzerland.

The unique feature of Breguet watches are the coin edge cases, the characteristic blue hands that are also referred to as the Breguet hands and the fine guilloché watch faces. Both front and back have sapphire crystals. The Breguet Marine Tourbillon Chronograph is water resistant to 100 meters. The watch face is black rhodium plated on 18K gold. It is engine turned in a wave-like pattern. This designer watch has a snug rubber strap with a gold clasp. The dial has a chapter ring with pink gilted Roman numerals and luminous dots. There is a 12 hour totalizer at 6 o’clock. On the tourbillon carriage at 12 o’clock are the small seconds. Open tipped 18 carat pink gold Breguet hands point the time.

This collectable Breguet watch is 42 mm in diameter with rounded horns that are welded to the case with screw pins holding the rather cool rubber strap.
