The house of Gresso has given the world such mobile phones that satiate the innate desire for high-end luxury. Their latest goes by the name of Lady Diamond. As the name suggests, this technological beauty comes embedded with sparkling diamonds and is made for trendy women.

Quite a choice by the designer in the hot red mobile case, which has been made in titanium! The whole structure is covered with high-tech ceramic of magenta diamond color for that uber rich feel. We have learnt that this unique color has been specially created for this limited edition. And if that wasn’t enough for your luxury taste buds, then you would be impressed by the navigation keys made of gold and decorated with four white diamonds. Other keys too come with shining 18 carat gold plating. Do not miss the signature Gresso gold triangle on the front panel.

With a sapphire crystal back, the phone lets the user get mesmerized by the inner mechanism. The leather covered battery flaunts a magnetic lock. All regular superior mobile phone features are available. Only eight models up for sale. The price tag says $5,500.

Even in the times of the credit crunch, the world of precious jewels is rather upbeat these days. Reason? Well, a rare and flawless cushion-shaped blue diamond has asked the world to sit up and take notice. With an expected price ranging between $5.8 million and $8.5 million (£4.1m to £5.9m), this one means big bucks.

Going up on auction at Sotheby’s Magnificent Jewels auction in Geneva on May 12, the diamond is still nameless. In fact, it has been decided that the final buyer will get the golden chance of naming this one. Here is a little history on this blue ice. Discovered at Petra Diamonds’ Cullian diamond mine in South Africa, this one is 7.03ct and has been cut from a 26.58ct rough stone.

Before going on auction, the blue diamond will be exhibited in many cities like Hong Kong, Paris, New York and London. Even Petra Diamonds has admitted that this is perhaps the most precious gem ever to be offered at Sotheby’s. So far, the Blue Wittelsbach Diamond costing 16.4 million pounds is regarded as the most expensive diamond in the world. Let’s see what magic this new nameless diamond brews up!

Swing Catalyst Helps You Improve Your Golf Play

It’s swinging times for golfers. Ever since its launch at the 2009 PGA Merchandise show in Orlando, the Swing Catalyst has been creating a buzz. It has been developed by the Norwegian company Initial Force and is aimed at helping golfers improve their play, especially the swing.

Well, this machine is actually an analysis system that works towards integrating a force plate with a video analysis software and an optional launch monitor. Placed in a tee on an artificial turf, the force plate tries to give as real an experience as it can.

Your play is under constant supervision of the video cameras that record every motion and transfer the data to the monitor as well as the instructor’s workstation. All you have to do is simply stand on the force plate and swing like you always do while playing a game of golf. Also, the video clip can be replayed many times. You can even match the data from the force plate and the launch monitor. The technical bit apart, we think this will serve as a cool recreational facility at home.

One thing that hasn’t really been affected by the financial hard times is your local movie theater or even the one at home. Facts have shown us how the most popular form of recreation and entertainment has continued it stand even today. But here, we will be talking about the exotic among them. Opulent custom-made home theaters like the incredible Death Star Theater and the Ultimate Home Theater (that has been inspired by the Titanic) have drawn our attention on many occasions before.

The latest entrant to that exclusive list is the Cinema De La Mer. Built in a Palm Beach, Florida residence, this theater breathes luxury. And very ironically, the Oscar winning Slumdog Millionaire is running there. Due to it classic decor, the movie theater takes you at least five decades back.

We like the nostalgia coupled with modern technology. A 13-seat movie room affair, this one offers a memorable film experience from a 14-fooy wide Stewart CineWide screen that is supported by projections from a TITAN Reference 108op projector from Digital Projection. No word on the money gone into this extravagant adventure.
