1.Vielle Bon Secours:
This tops the list of the world's most expensive beer, costing around £500 (equivalent to around $1,000) per bottle or about £39 (equivalent to around $78) per pint. It can only be found in a bar called the Bierdrome in London.

2.Samuel Adams' Utopias:
This beer is brewed by the Boston Beer Company, using the brand name of Samuel Adam's Utopias, named after one of the founding fathers of the USA. This is also the place where King Akhenaton queen, Nefertiti worshiped.

The archaeologists sought expert advice from Scottish and Newcastle Breweries, Edinburgh and the beer is brewed in the Cambridge laboratory, costing around $52 per bottle. The production is also limited and the edition is also numbered

Carlsberg Comes Up With The Most Expensive Beer

carlsberg_vintage_no2 Carlsberg Comes Up With The Most Expensive Beer

There’s a new and perhaps the most expensive flavor in the beer market thanks to the famous brand Carlsberg. One of the world’s leading brewery groups has come up with their latest offering called the Vintage No. 2. It is the second brew in its Vintage trilogy, which is celebrated as the world’s most expensive beer.

Apparently, the beer makers want to “push the boundaries” for what a beer can do. So far, only wine has been associated while beer was always understood has a rough guy’s drink. Not anymore. With the Vintage Trilogy, the notion shall change to include men who like the rough side of life while sitting in the lap of luxury.

With a jet black color, the Vintage No. 2 will appear to be different from the rest of the bandwagon from the first glance itself. It has an espresso-like foam which parts only to reveal flavors like vanilla and cocoa. The gorgeous aroma is a wonderful mix of tar and rope-like smell of the smoked Scottish malt. Carlsberg recommends oysters, shellfish and Parma ham as good accompaniments for this luxury beer. Only 600 bottles being made each priced at $367.

Say Cheese Before Buying A Diamond

diamond_photos Say Cheese Before Buying A Diamond
Women’s best friends are losing their sheen in the difficult economic times. Yep, we are referring to diamonds. In fact, diamond sales have gone down considerable because folks do not think of them as healthy investments anymore except for rare diamonds. So, Gemory LLC has decided to use the DiamondPure technology as an attempt to move the emotional cord in us to improve the sales of their diamonds.

Well, the brand has been very busy promoting a never-seen-before kind of nano-photograph process, which was developed around a year ago. It has the special quality to embed high-resolution grayscale photographs on any size diamond; a romantic way to enshrine your loved ones on the precious stone forever!

Apparently, the photograph does not interfere with the diamond’s sparkle and quality. You can be sure of this because services of the EGL, USA have been employed to look into the matter. No wonder it is so because the picture is invisible to the naked eye. You can see it only with the GemmaView, which is a portable viewing device developed by Gemory’ proprietary.

Cardok: Futuristic Pop-up Garage

park-and-hide-cardok Cardok: Futuristic Pop-up GarageWould you like it if your car and garage just popped out of the ground when you wanted to use them? Minus clutter. Lots of space. Sounds dreamy?.

Pop-up garages Thunderbirds aircraft hangar style (in Tracy Island), are the latest fad for home owners. Hydraulic lift based parking spaces have existed before, but this one is innovative.

This £50,000 Cardok parking option that is futuristic as well as effective is a Cardok that lifts out from the ground when operated electronically. The hydraulic platform can be hidden under a water feature in your home compound, a patch of gravel or a second car too.

It uses a hydraulic platform that can be hidden under a water feature, flowerbed or patch of gravel – or even a second car. Reportedly, enquiries for the product have doubled since its 2008 July’s Hampton Court Palace Flower Show promotion. Its waiting list is four months long. A boon for Londoners wishing to use their garages as extra rooms, and those elsewhere too.

Cardok officials say it is more secure than a garage or driveway, giving the vehicle protection from natural elements too, and helps harvest rainwater, better.

The lift takes 10 weeks to build, about three days to install, operates silently.

Nude Bruni Photograph Sells for $91,000

Carla Bruni ,Nude Bruni Photograph Sells for $91,000, New York, auction, sale, Nude Bruni, Christie, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, French President, Nicolas Sarkozy

A naked photo of French first lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, featuring in a pigeon-toed pose and casing her assets with her hands got sold for $91,000 at New York based Christie, which is almost 20 times of its anticipated price. An anonymous Chinese art collector inked this neat deal by gaining the ownership of this black-and-white image shot by photographer Michel Comte in 1993. The photograph earned more hype since Bruni married French President Nicolas Sarkozy in February. The pre-estimate of auction was that it would fetch between $3,000-$4,000. The sale was a part of 140 photos from German collector Gert Elfering featuring master works by Irving Penn, Richard Avedon, Helmut Newton and Peter Beard. Another much-in-news portrayal at Christie’s is an Avedon sketch of 1950s and 1960s French screen siren Brigitte Bardot sold for $181,000.

Most Expensive Photograph Ever Auctioned

The confirmation for most expensive photo ever sold at auction has been cultivated by Richard Prince after one of his prints fetched him $3,401,000 at Sotheby auction house in New York. This is against the previous record of $3.34 million for an Andreas Gursky diptych that got sold at Sothey’s in February 2007. This trend setting Prince Illustration is being captured from his anonymous cowboy series, wherein which he photographed pieces of Marlboro cigarette ads and got the photos engorged to a colossal size. Dating back to 2001-2002, the photo measures 100 X 66 inches and has always being a point of controversy as some people claim that he made use of other photographers’ work without giving them deserving credit.

Patek Philippe Wristwatch Is World’s Most Expensive For £1.1million

A wristwatch belonging to an Italian mogul who takes pride in having won Grand Prix races and was president of Ferrari generated a sales of £1.1million against its pre-auction estimate of $1.9 million after selling off his gold Patek Philippe timepiece at Sothey’s Geneva auction house.

Count Carlo Felice Trossi’s priciest possession called the “Trossi Leggenda”, described as “really revolutionary” by experts, was the highlight amidst the other 200 timepieces. Trossi by profession was a racing driver, pilot and speedboat racer whose motor-racing triumphs count the 1947 Italian Grand Prix. Besides this another gold Rolex known as “Oyster Daytona Paul Newman” dating back to 1980 got sold for £76,000 almost two-fold of its pre-auction estimate of £25,000 to £40,000. The watch was christened after the Florida car race and for the American actor who helped promote this style.

He is mostly fond of creating artwork based on romantic and nude themes.

The Black and White is another fascinating work piece created by Jack Vettriano in the year 1996, which is signed by the painter himself on left side of the painting. Most Expensive Guitar and Combo Amp - George Fullerton 50t = $7,000

The Most Expensive Guitar and Combo Amp is from The Fender Custom Shop which is honored to say "welcome home" to George Fullerton, who is once again back at work on the electric guitar he helped bring to life more than 50 years ago. The modern Fender family couldn’t possibly be more thrilled.

The resulting Limited Edition George Fullerton 50th Anniversary Stratocaster is beautifully master-built with a two-color sunburst lacquer finish on its three-piece blade-cut alder body. The one-piece ‘57-style soft V-shaped maple neck has a lacquer finish and 7.25"-radius maple fingerboard. Other features include ’50s-style pickups hand wound by Abigail Ybarra and a three-position pickup selector switch, mounted on a single-ply white pickguard, plus vintage hardware, a commemorative neck plate and a certificate of authenticity signed by George Fullerton himself.

The Fender guitar’s partner is the Relic Tweed Pro Junior amp, which evokes the revered ’50s era of small Fender tube amps such as the Champ, Princeton and Harvard. The 15-watt, single-channel Relic Tweed Pro Junior features a single 10" speaker, vintage pointer knobs and period-correct vintage-style tweed covering.

Fullerton’s return is a memorable occasion for Fender, and it is a distinct honor and a pleasure to offer a Stratocaster guitar bearing his name.

"George Fullerton’s contribution to Fender is immeasurable," said Mike Eldred, Fender Custom Division marketing director. "To have him come home to be part of the Fender family again is an incredible honor for every employee here. For the Fender Custom Shop team to be able to sit down with him and work on these projects together has been like getting an incredible first-hand glimpse into history."

It may be hard to believe that the Stratocaster guitar wasn’t widely perceived as a legendary design phenomenon and cultural icon when it debuted in 1954. In fact, it drew as many quizzical looks as it did accolades, and it took a little while to really take off. Refinements and improvements were made for many months afterward by Fender’s founding fathers men such as Leo Fender, George Fullerton, Freddie Tavares and others. As it turned out then, the landmark year for the nascent landmark guitar the year when the Stratocaster really hit its stride was 1957.

Now, 50 years later, Fender is honored and delighted to welcome George Fullerton, truly one of the fathers of the Stratocaster, back to the Fender family for the release of the Limited Edition George Fullerton 50th Anniversary Stratocaster guitar and amp set. He and the Fender Custom Shop are introducing 150 limited edition sets consisting of a master-built reproduction of a 1957 Stratocaster and Relic Tweed Pro Junior amplifier in a collaboration that evokes Fender’s original spirit of pioneering greatness and devotion to craftsmanship.

As far as young George Fullerton knew back in the late 1940s in Fullerton, Calif., his future and the smart money were in aircraft; specifically, a good job with Lockheed in booming post-war Southern California home of sun, sand, surf, cars and lucrative aircraft contracts from the just-created U.S. Department of Defense. Smart and hard-working, Fullerton could look forward to a bright future though still in school, he already worked part-time for Lockheed, and his keen interest in electronics extended to repairing radios on the side.

Fullerton met local businessman and inventor Clarence "Leo" Fender at one of the outdoor events for which Fender supplied the PA system. Fender had a small radio repair shop on Spadra Ave. where Fullerton, who played guitar, bought records and sheet music. Before long, Fullerton was helping Fender with PA systems at various outdoor events: the two became good friends, and Leo was always pressing his young friend to come work for him at his fledgling guitar company, where Fender built lap steel guitars and small amplifiers. Fullerton resisted, as he wasn’t interested in lap steel guitars and was busy studying anyway.

"You know, it’s a funny thing," Fullerton recalled in 2007, "I never wanted to build guitars. I never intended to. Leo used to beg me to come over there and work for them. And I said, ‘Leo, I don’t want to build that kind of guitar; I’m studying electronics.’"

At Fender’s urging, Fullerton spent a few days at the shop doing some repair work. But when Fullerton once again rebuffed Fender’s offer for a job, Fender revealed his idea for a project that piqued Fullerton’s interest.

"He said, ‘Let’s go get a cup of coffee and talk a little bit,’" Fullerton said. "So we walked down the street to a little caf?, and he told me, ‘I’ve been thinking about trying to design a solid-body electric guitar. Would you be interested in doing some designing on one of those?’ And I said, ‘Absolutely when can we start?’"

George Fullerton reported for work at the Fender Electric Instrument Co. on Feb. 2, 1948. Work on a solid-body Spanish-style electric guitar that would eventually be named the Telecaster was already under way, and Fullerton quickly became Leo Fender’s right-hand man in designing and building it.

"When he designed a solid-body guitar, it really turned me on to them," Fullerton said. "Many nights, Leo and I would be down there ’til two o’clock in the morning still working on designing. My family never did see me in the daytime I was gone all day and gone half the night."
"Leo and I used to go out and sit in these nightclubs, beer joints and smoky rooms to talk to musicians, to listen to what they had to say. We were trying to learn what players really needed for their musical instruments. We listened to them rather than tell them what we were doing we used a lot of what we learned in our designs for the market."

Fullerton was a key collaborator with Leo Fender throughout the late 1940s and 1950s, playing a pivotal role in the design and manufacture of other revolutionary Fender instruments and amplifiers that went on to change the world. These included the follow-up to the Telecaster a three-pickup, double-cutaway guitar with a vibrato and a comfortably contoured body called the Stratocaster, introduced in 1954 and refined to near perfection by 1957.

The Stratocaster was a radical departure that was destined for greatness not only as a musical icon, but also as a cultural one. Players in subsequent eras the 1960s, in particular used the Stratocaster to chart previously unexplored musical territory in ways Leo Fender and George Fullerton never imagined. From Buddy Holly to Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton to Stevie Ray Vaughan to name only a few, more popular music over the last 50 years was made and played on the Stratocaster than any other electric instrument. Fullerton wasn’t thinking about any of this back then, of course: he simply wanted to help Leo Fender build a really good guitar.

"It turned out to be a good thing," Fullerton said modestly in 2007. "I look back over it and I can hardly believe it did happen. The results show up all around the world today."

F.P. Journe Watches

F.P. Journe Watches – The Sonnerie Souveraine Watch $560,000

F.P. Journe Watches presents the exceptionally unique Sonnerie Souveraine Grand-Strike Clock watch and Minute Repeater wrist watch priced at an expensive $560,000. This fine luxury watch is unmatched in terms of its looks and watch collectors - please note that only four of this watch is made for sale each year.

The F.P. Journe watches’ Sonnerie Souveraine is not just a grand sonnerie – it is a “grand et petite” sonnerie with a minute repeater. For those who don’t know, a sonnerie is a clock watch that strikes the hour and the quarters just like your traditional grandfather clock. The F.P. Journe watches’ grand and petit sonnerie will let you hear the sharp strike of each quarter hour as well as the full hour. For example, if the time is 5.45 you would hear five strikes for the hour five and three strikes for the three quarters. Sadly, watch collecting fans that are impressed with this collectible watch must wait not less than three years. Fair enough - considering that it took six years to develop this designer watch, involving ten patents.

What makes the F.P. Journe watches’ collectable Sonnerie Souveraine especially outstanding is the fact that is manages to integrate highly complex features within the wrist watches’ limited energy with absolutely no compromise in terms of quality of sound and dependability. What is interesting with these wrist watches is, in spite of their value, they only come with steel cases. According to Journe, steel conducts and transmits sound far better than gold or platinum and that is the reason why the Sonnerie Souvernaire is housed only in steel.
The F.P. Journe watches’ Sonnerie Souvernaire does not come with a serial number, in spite of being a limited edition. This fabulous watch brand takes the custom even further - when you place your order, you will have your name custom engraved on both the movement and the case. This cool watch is a forty jewel watch that houses a Calibre 1505 and is manually wound. There are more than four hundred pieces in the watch. The movement measures 35mm x 7.8mm. The watch has a power reserve with an indicator, of 120 hours without the chime, 48 hours with the grand strike and 24 hours of autonomy after the strike runs down. The case with the watch face within measures 42 mm x 12.25 mm.

F.P. Journe has given the world a horological marvel that is one of its best wrist watches that is unlikely to ever go out of fashion and can be worn with any dress code.
